Advance Open Water
Increase confidence, explore, practice different kind of dives
This is the next level of certification for SCUBA diving. It consists of 5 theory sessions and 5 adventure dives. You can choose among a variety of adventure dives: Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Navigation, Search and Recovery, Deep Dive, Night Dive and many more.
What You Will Learn
The PADI Advanced Open Water Course consists of:
Knowledge Development: witch you can do online or home study from the Adventures in Diving Manual and classroom sessions. During this part you will discuss with your instructor the specifics for the dives you have chosen.
Open Water Dives: During the Open Water Dives you will practice the skills and practices you learned during your theory sessions and of course you will enjoy the underwater tour.
How long does the course take?
The PADI Advanced Open Water is performance based.
The goal of the course is to gain more experience and practice different adventure dives.
The training will be base upon your performance. Usually the theory session proceeds the in water practice. The whole course can be made in 2-3 days depending your time schedule and logistics. You can choose to take the Knowledge development in a classroom and home study at your convenience or take the theory online with PADI eLearning from your home and then make the adventure dives in one of our diving clubs.
Prerequisites
- Min age 15 years (or 12 years for the Junior Advanced open Water Course).
- Students younger than 15 years old will take the Junior Advanced Open Water Certification until their 15th anniversary. They will learn exactly the same things as in Advanced Open Diver course but the maximum depth for their dives will be limited to 15 metres/50 feet. Student who wish to take the Theory online with PADI eLearning must be at least 13 years due to international internet laws. For more information please contact us.
- PADI Open Water Certification is required (or a qualifying certification from another training organization)
- For safety reasons students must complete a medical questionnaire so we determine they are fit for diving. No need for a physician unless you reply YES to a question so for your safety a physician confirmation will be needed.
Continuing Education
After the PADI Advanced Open Water Certification you can continue and take the rest of Adventures Dives you will be interested and broaden your diving knowledge, choose the.
Emergency First Responder course (EFR) to offer First Aid and CPR to a layperson or take a PADI.
